    bright, smooth, welcoming

    i adore windows down, it fresh without feeling overtly aquatic or heavy citrus. it feels clean and yet inviting, somewhere between floral and citrus. the tea note is there but not super intense, which i like. i think longevity is good if your standard of longevity is still being able to smell it without fully assaulting others with the strength of your fragrance; i routinely still smell it on wrists or on clothing the next day. this is one of the only perfumes ive ever worn that actually gets compliments from people who hug me, and i feel like ive worn a number of lovely things over the years! henry rose makes most of my favorites these days, and i recommend them whenever i get the chance!

    WINDOWS DOWN

    The MUSK in this is so beautiful especially on the drydown. The opening is probably my favorite part of this fragrance though. It’s such a burst of citrusy energy with that sexy Earl Gray tea note. Whew! I’m going to sit with the middle phase a bit more because although it’s really beautiful, it’s a little sweeter than I’m used to but I’m learning to step outside of the box a bit more and just enjoy the experience. I’m glad I have this in my collection.

    Blind buy remorse

    Never blind buy perfume. I love citrus and I love Earl Grey tea, so I thought this would be a win for me. Nope! The citrus is a bit astringent, or maybe that’s the tea note. This fragrance is very fresh and spring/summery, with clean bright notes and zero sweetness. I pair it with Dave or Ripe and it balances out for me.

    Extraordinary! My favorite perfume

    I'm a huge fan of the Henry Rose fragrance line (especially Flora Carnivora and the recently discontinued Sheep's Clothing; haven't had a chance to sample the past year's releases), but this is my favorite of them all, and my husband absolutely loves it as well. In fact, it's our favorite of all the perfumes I own. The combination of citrus with bergamot is unique and distinct in the best possible way from most of the other perfumes on the market. Please don't ever remove this from the lineup; It's amazing!!

    One more thing: as a resident of Europe who has to wait long periods of time for each order to get to me through my dad's yearly trip here, I would greatly appreciate if the availability of this line was expanded to this region of the world.
