With unwavering perseverance and passion, Michelle eventually found the right partner in International Flavors & Fragrances (IFF). Henry Rose launched in 2019 as the first collection of genderless fine fragrances with an unprecedented 100% ingredient transparency.

We didn't just stop with ingredients or our high standards. We sought to enact the industry's most rigorous and comprehensive health, safety, and sustainability verifications. If a standard didn't exist, we worked with certified groups to create it. As a result, every Henry Rose fragrance is EWG Verified, ™ an influential mark representing health, transparency, and proper manufacturing practices, and Cradle to Cradle Certified,™ a global marker for meticulous product sustainability.

We're committed to doing the very best for the planet. It's an ongoing effort that starts with sourcing materials from sustainable or renewable resources wherever possible. Our packaging considers all points of its product lifecycle right from the start.

But it doesn't end there. We're constantly searching for new and innovative ways to raise the bar as a business. We encourage you to bring this work full circle by recycling and composting when and where possible.

OUR BOTTLES ARE MADE FROM 90% RECYCLED GLASS, AND ARE 100% RECYCLABLE.

OUR CAPS ARE MADE FROM SUSTAINABLY-SOURCED AND COMMERCIALLY COMPOSTABLE SOY.

Our Carton is made with FSC® (forest stewardship council) hemp paper which is a certified bio-based, 100% biodegradable paper alternative which Can be 100% composted or recycled.

our Fragrances are mixed and filled at a facility that utilizes Green Renewable Energy for efficiency and sustainability. (Solar and Wind Powered)

Our shipping boxes are made from recycled corrugate paper and are recyclable.

We partner with Breast Cancer Prevention Partners (BCPP) to give back a portion of all proceeds to research and advocacy around toxic chemicals in personal care.

BCPP is the only leading science-based policy and advocacy organization with a focus on breast cancer prevention, women's health, and environmental justice. As part of their efforts, BCPP created a project, the Campaign for Safe Cosmetics, which works to protect the health of consumers, workers, and the environment through public education and engagement, corporate accountability, and legislative advocacy designed to eliminate dangerous chemicals linked to adverse health impacts from cosmetics and personal care products. We are proud to partner with BCPP and work alongside other forward-thinking cosmetics companies to create a safer planet.
