the sharp cologne-like edge blooms into a sweet crisp floral that reminds me I can be in charge and elusive, no explanation necessary. As a big fan of Dark is Night, Smyth, and Fog, French Exit fits perfectly into alluring scent profiles that seduce, tame, and inspire.

I’m not a floral person
Or at least I wasn’t before I blind bought French Exit. This fragrance is honestly so surreal to me. It absolutely opens with a watery, floaty floral. Which is nice, though literally the only floral fragrance I own. The true magic for me comes in the dry down. It mixes with my chemistry so nicely it’s wild. It’s a skin scent that somehow lasts all day. It has depth and a fragrance story that starts out in a wildflower field in the morning and takes you on a meandering walk through the woods, ending on a blanket watching a sunset by a lake. I really can’t explain it any better than that, lol.
